Erin elicits Kieran’s masculinity, and though he is intrigued that she is interested in him, he enjoys the attention and slowly opens his heart.
At the same time he meets Erin, a mysterious occurrence during the night leaves Kieran stunned. For a few minutes, he seems to gain sensation back in his legs. Worried about the psychological demons he has been battling for the longest time possibly interfering with his life again, leaves him fearful and frustrated.
As Kieran tries to establish a romantic connection with Erin, his mental health seems to deteriorate due to things he cannot comprehend. Soon, he realizes that opening up to someone about his struggles may cost him the life and love he has found, but it may be the only way to save himself.
