Obsession by Annabella Faust, Bella Faust
ob*ses*sion
noun

the control of one’s thoughts by a continuous, powerful idea or feeling, or the idea or feeling itself

I've always known I was different.

When I was young, before she sozzled herself in gin and drowned her maternal instincts, my mother called me her highly motivated demon. As I grew older, she started to describe me as a controlling monster.

Personally, I refer to myself as "selectively obsessive."

You see, when something is special enough to catch my discerning eye, it demands my full attention. And, luckily for Lilianna Mayberry, one glimpse of her was enough to immediately captivate me... and my monster.

This full-length novel is a prequel to Annabella Faust's Heretic Brotherhood MC Australia series. It is best read before Affliction as it offers the reader a better understanding of the events that occur later in the series, although it can be skipped all together, should the reader be triggered by graphic depictions of violence against women told from the perpetrator’s POV.

Affliction contains potentially triggering events. Annabella asks that you also note that this addition to the series is not a romance story. It is a brutal, violent, painful, heart-breaking, one-sided “love” story - the tale of one man’s battle against his demons and one woman’s fight to survive him.
