His to Bedevil: by Stasia Mars
“Bedevil”
The word has a few definitions.
To torment diabolically, to possess with the devil himself, to cause confusion or doubt in.
I think it’s fitting.

Stealing from Alejandro Martinez was supposed to be an easy job, just like the rest.
It’s what I do.
I’m a bandit.
Thief.
Con artist.
Imposter.
Take your pick.

I was warned that if I were caught, I should make my peace.
He’s not just any Mob boss.
He is feared all around the world.
Worshiped by his country.

I was caught.
Snatched off the streets of Little Havana.

First, he tormented me.
Locked me away until I answered just one question of his.

Then he possessed me.
Made me fall for the devil himself.

Then he left me confused.
Gave me everything I’ve ever wanted then ripped it away from me.
Making me doubt if anything we ever had was real or if it was all part of his bedevilment.

His to Bedevil is the first book to a six-book series that can be read in any order. Alejo and Irma are a personal favorite of mine with a HEA and no cliffhangers. They’re a perfect power couple to start of the Men of the Mafia series.

Trigger warning! This may not be considered a “dark” romance, but I would say it is toeing the line. If dark romances are not for you then this book might not be either. This book is not recommended for those under the age of 18 or those who may be sensitive to certain situations. You’ve been warned!
