Junkyard Dogs: A Hot Wife Story by Matthew Lee
Welcome to the Yard: ten acres of toxic and dangerous industrial sprawl, from the acid-etching factory to the stripping vats to the massive mills turning wood into paper. On the edge of the property, near the highway, sits Sunrise, a busy little coffee shop and the only ray of sunshine in this muddy and dreary place. The girls that run the place: Honey, Tammy, and Regina, are a distraction and productivity has suffered so, to curtail the wasted time, Marcus, the owner, declares employees may not fraternize. He'd prefer to demolish the place and build something more profitable, but the guys working the Yard have threatened mutiny if he does.
When the Sunrise air conditioner breaks, Marcus hopes the savage heat will be enough to drive the girls away. It doesn't. What it does accomplish is the girls shedding baggy sweatshirts and jacket and working in the T-shirts and sports bras they wear underneath. Even shy Honey joins in, although not to extent the others do.
Business, as one would expect, booms.
Noah works at the Yard and dates Honey on the sly, desperate to keep his job in this dying town. When he learns he is not the first Honey had secretly dated, he covertly digs deeper, uncovering her past until he discovers too much.
His desire to marry her grows, despite all he unearths, until a fateful confrontation explodes, threatening their relationship.
