The Alien: A Science Fiction Romance by Anthar Wolfen
Doctor Mariana García studies a primitive alien species from the safety of her camouflaged facility; an Alliance base dug half way underground on a backwater, M-Class planet. Mariana deems the aliens as deadly predators and barely above the mindset of pack animals. Her superiors praise Mariana’s work and she aims for a promotion to be the team leader of the base.

All is going well, with a shuttle launch planned to send off their most recent scientific collections, but then a freak accident sets the facility aflame. The fire and destruction leave no way out for Mariana or any of her peers. When all seems lost and Mariana is on the verge of burning to death, one of the aliens she’d been tasked to watch saves her from the burning rubble.

Mariana and Taz’ax must try to survive together on the alien’s feral, patriarchal society; with the all the odds stacked against them.

Can Mariana live long enough to send a signal out for rescue? Will Taz’ax be forever stuck under his father’s talons? And can the two come to terms with the blooming desires and feelings they have for one another?
