Haunted by a traumatic past of loss and regret, Ryan Monroe has been traveling south for months, never staying in one place for more than a few weeks at a time. After a chance encounter with a friendly stranger, he finds himself in a small beach town on the Delaware coast. The opportunity to right a past wrong presents itself in the face of a young girl in danger of losing herself to a darkness he had come to know so well.
