Struggling to recover from a recent trauma, Evie leaves city life behind and heads to the country in the hope it will fast-track her healing.

She books a two-month stay at a holiday rental, and intends to use the time to find her way back to the person she used to be before her peace of mind was shattered.

Evie's always been more of a keep-to-herself kind of person, but in Rosebrook, it seems no one likes to mind their own business, and before too long, she finds herself getting to know the locals... and Luke, the owner of the home she discovers was never really a holiday rental at all.
