Emery and Matt grew up next door to each other and were inseparable, so when Matt up and disappears the night his junior hockey team wins the championship, Emery feels lost. Fast forward ten years and she's finally got her life on track. She's lived a life of regimented routines and dedicated herself to her studies to achieve her goals and they're finally coming to fruition. She's the lead trainer at a local aquarium, has her own place and a unique pet to top it all off.
