Acts of Nature by Miranda Bowens, Carla Dupont
Genesis didn’t believe the saying, “The only time you grow is when you are uncomfortable.” She wanted to be comfortable. Known for being an introvert who hid her emotions, she only allowed certain people to see her true self. That’s how she coped with the uncomfortable. Her best friend, Taylin, was an extroverted risk taker who went after what she wanted before someone had the chance to take it from her. Their spirited differences didn’t alter the fact that they both had to conquer life’s tribulations while building a future for themselves. Holding down a job they hated introduced the young ladies to Roman and Quincy. Quickly thereafter, life began constantly throwing curve balls none of them were prepared for. Now, they each must make the decision of letting nature take them on a rollercoaster to growth or hold on to past comforts.
