SIBLING SURVIVALRY: Them MacCadáin Girls & Those Francisco Stiùbhart Boys by Jeanie Johnson, Jayha Leigh
Wealthy, adventurous, educated, and some kind of good to look at, Coinneach and Eòghan Francisco Stiùbhart were everything women wanted―two centuries ago. Carefree with their hearts set on experiencing adventure, they lived life hard until one day they became entangled in an adventure that cost them big. They could give up their homeland or most of their mortality. To deny a Scotsman his homeland was to deny him life, and thus they chose to give up most of their mortality. Like all good curses, theirs could be broken, but only by true love. Too bad Coinneach isn’t interested in love. He simply wants revenge. Not as bitter as his brother, Eòghan is open to love. He simply has never come across a lass that has inspired it. Yet, he hasn’t given up on love.

Abeni and Tinashe Harper-MacCadáin are on their yearly summer vacation. Normally, Tinashe needs a vacation after taking vacations with her sister. This year, however, she vows that it will be different. For once vacation is going to be relaxing. It cannot help but be so. After all, they're on a Scottish Island with no discernable predators, guerilla fighters, or angry mobs for Abeni to start sh*t with. But this is Abeni, so of course, she stumbled across ghosts. Hot to death brothers. One who is a lunatic and the other who is a complete butthole. But dang, they are fine.

Despite what any of them want, the universe has decided that they’d be perfect together. While the original adventure began in the South Pacific before it came to the Orkneys, it will end where all adventures end: Mid-NFW―the enchanted area outside of Atlanta that you can’t locate on a map, can’t find your way into if you wanted to, can’t find your way out of if you’re summoned, and can’t be picked up by GPS or any other gadgets.
