Never Let You Go

I finally got everything I wanted back. Ali. But then he took her away from me, making me revert back to my old self. I had a choice to make, once again, the hardest choice of my life. I could stay in Douglas with my family or I could go back to Salem to my father. To my family. To the family business to protect them from anyone else who tried to harm them. I knew Ali wouldn’t take me back if I left. But I’d do anything to protect her.
She told me if I left that I'd lose her and Demi forever.
And I left. I left to protect them.
That’s the only thing that’s making me live, knowing that going back to that life, becoming a Devil again, that I’d protect them no matter what.
Even if that meant losing them.

He left Demi.
He’s gone.
Everything in my body wanted to get up and chase after him, beg him not to do this, but I couldn’t move. When he walked out that door I knew that he wouldn’t come back.
Cordell came in and ruined the best thing I had, a family, Christian. He ruined everything. He made me lose my baby. He hurt me and tried to rape me. I have to try and move on with my life now because I know once you become a Devil from what I’ve seen, you don’t come back from that.
But how do I move on when I am so broken?
