Twenty-year-old Jane York accepts a position teaching a family's children in New York City and is asked to arrive as soon as she is able to make arrangements. Traveling alone in 1920 becomes far more adventuresome than she anticipates as she takes on another responsibility for which she is unprepared. As a result the direction of her life will drastically change, and her dwindling funds will force her to be resourceful. Experiencing fear and danger God will meet her where she is and intervene.
