Dragon Actually by G.A. Aiken
Now this—was a fun/funny book. It tugs at the heart strings and makes you snort with the ridiculousness of every character. They all try to be so serious and scary, but instead end up being love-able; Annwyl especially is love-able, what with all 6 ft of her, and her tendency to fly into a rage at the slightest provocation in regards to herself. Then there is Fearghus, who finds her lack of self control and her sassy mouth irresistible, and I was 100% here for the dragon sex, but even though that did not happen, I was very happy that Annwyl first fell in love with Fearghus the Dragon. She fell for his inner beauty first, and I always love books like that, the beast and the beauty. *siiiiigh* So there you have it!
So, if you like a little bit of death, gore, rage, tall af women who can wield a sword one handed, along with dragons being grouchy old men (who like to read), who win the heroine over by teaching her to control her rage—-then ya, I’d say this is the book for you.
