The young lovers are separated for years until Jackson lures Kate back to the farm where it all started, and sparks fly once again. Excerpt from Chapter 2 A flash of light broke her reverie. She blinked and looked around to find that he had taken a picture. In one swift motion he captured her wrists and pinned them above her head, and swung his leg over her pressing her down into the mattress. Once more she was his captive and she stared at him in bewilderment. “What are you doing?” “Updating Facebook.” He showed her the picture he’d taken. It showed him lying on top of her, kissing her passionately, his hand on her breast – which thank goodness was a little blurry. “You have a Facebook account?” “I’m updating your page.” He snorted derisively and gave her a look of mild disdain. “I don’t do Facebook.” She stared in disbelief. There was no need for him to restrain her wrists. Shock left her unable to even process what he was doing, much less fight him. Setting the phone down on her belly, he narrated as he slowly typed a message. “Engaged 2 love of my life. Jackson Stenberg OWNS me now.” He gave her a wintery smile and held it up for her to see. She gasped and tried to jerk her arms free, but she couldn’t move more than a fraction of an inch. “Not going anywhere, babe. I’m just about to update your status.” Disbelief made her thoughts reel and spin like bare tires seeking purchase. He couldn’t do something like that. He wouldn’t. Surely. “No…” He tightened his grip on her wrists and drew closer until his face was inches from hers. “You thought we were done. You thought you could walk away, wreck my reputation, leave me and never once look back?” “Holy. Shit. You are the biggest-” He arched a brow. “Keep talking, princess, and I’ll post to your page.” Kate felt heat flush her face. She watched, paralyzed with horror, as he waved her phone just out of her reach. The bling glinted absurdly, the glittering case dwarfed by his hand. “I’m starting to think I hate you, Jackson.” He shook his head and gave her a look of mock dismay and she watched in horror as he pressed the update button. The phone’s indicator spun in the middle of the screen and Kate remembered that the she had no data service out here. She exhaled in relief, but then a moment later a message appeared, “Status Updated.” less

He’s certain Jenny feels betrayed, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to let her off easy. Jenny is still his and he has every intention of proving it. In a single, rash moment, Jenny ups the ante, only to find that she’s no match for a determined, domineering man like Dillan. Dillan takes one final chance. One weekend to stake his claim. Warning: This book contains (something very much like) kidnapping, extortion (sort-of), one wild weekend of make-up sex, and a dirty-talking alpha male. It is intended for audiences over eighteen. From Chapter 2 His hand wrapped around hers, engulfing it, his touch warm. Her senses spun from his touch, making her yearn for more, an unhurried and gentle seduction, slow drugging kisses. “We could sit on your couch,” she said, feeling suddenly shy, as she followed behind him. “Make out like we used to. Remember how we’d stop every few minutes when a car went by, worrying that my parents were coming home?” At the top of the stairs he stopped and smiled at her and shook his head. “I want you naked.” She swallowed, trying to loosen the tightness in her throat. A mixture of apprehension and arousal coursed in her veins. Dillan, a head taller than her, suddenly looked even more immense, his chest broader, and his shoulders thicker. He’d been lifting weights, a lot of weights. She put her hand on his chest. “Dillan.” “What?” his tone was gruff. “When will you kiss me?” She held her breath as she searched his eyes. “Isn’t that part of the kiss and make up equation?” She bit her lip. Now she’d done it – put it out in the open, the notion of making up. It was what she wanted more than anything, a reconciliation, and forgiveness. He pulled her roughly against him. “Who’s driving this?” Captive, her breasts pressed against him, she felt weak with need. Wetness flooded her and she no longer thought of kisses, but of him inside her. She needed that more than she needed her next breath. “Answer me.” He spoke through gritted teeth. “Who is driving this?” “You are.” “Good girl. No more of you calling the shots. You’re under my orders for the week-end – longer if you don’t do as you’re told.” She let out a small gasp. “Longer?” “That’s right. Consider this a kidnapping and you’re paying your own ransom. The week-end starts now but if you sass me the clock goes back to zero.” She widened her eyes, opened her mouth, but he covered her lips with his finger. When he spoke, his voice was a growl. “Don’t. Say. A word.” less
