He stared deeply into my eyes as if he was trying to divine my true intentions. I blinked and looked away. They say the eyes are the window to the soul. If Cross could see into mine, he’d run screaming. He took my chin in his hand and forced me to look at him. He held my face in his hands delicately as if he might scare me away. “You don’t have to this,” he said. I kissed his thumb as it brushed across my lips. “Do what?” I asked coyly. His grip tightened on my wrist. “Do you like it rough?” I asked. He didn’t answer. “I like it rough,” I said. “I need a man to hold me down. Do you think you’re strong enough to tame me?” I rose to my knees and crawled closer. Cross bent my arm behind my back as I straddled his lap. “Maybe I’ll tame you,” I whispered into his ear. I brushed the hair out of his face and traced the outline of his jaw. My fingers trailed down across his neck. Suddenly, he grabbed my hand and pinned it behind my back along with the other.
