But, on the day of the party, the balmy weather turns to rain, which turns to sleet, then ice, then snow. Janie is stranded in town with no trains, planes, or Uber. While trying to claim the last taxi in sight, though she doesn't realize it, she witnesses a murder. Her luck changes when she loses her footing and skids down the icy road on her bottom.
