They'd hosted social events for us and arranged job training. They'd even allowed me to travel thousands of miles to Terena de Dragoni – a small kingdom in Canada – to stay with Spence and his new Alpha, Harry. And there, in the ancient royal castle of Terena de Dragoni, is where my story really began….. Terena de Dragoni "Wouldn't you rather find a mate?" I almost laughed. As an Omega, of course, I wanted a mate but, truthfully, who would want to get heirs on an orphaned Omega with no clue what his bloodline was? With the prospects of a mate dim, I would have been thrilled to be a super-hero, like the Blood Valley Omega, Colby, or an empath, like Trevor from the Coruscation werewolves, but not every Omega could be something special. Some of us had to be good old fashioned breeding stock. Unfortunately, I wasn't even good for that. Ultimately, I was hoping just to find my place in the world, regardless of where it was. "Thanks, sweetie," I pressed a kiss to his cheek, "but I think we all know that isn't in the cards for me." Alrick For all intents and purposes, there are three ways that an Alpha can claim leadership of a pack. Bloodline, murder, or theft. For me, the pup of a pack that had deemed me damaged and abandoned me to the council, the first option wasn't an option at all. The second and third? Well, let’s just stop at morally repugnant and move on to where I did end up which wasn't leading a pack. Like so many young Alphas, I was determined to prove that I could make my place in the world strictly by my own merit. Of course, what I was to learn – and quickly – was that at the ripe old age of eighteen, I had no merit. Instead, I clawed my way forward, every advance bought with blood, sweat, and tears, until, eight grueling years later, I commanded the North American team of the most elite special forces in shifter society; the Böxenwolf Brigade. That service was how I came to find myself in my current predicament; standing in the Terena de Dragoni royal castle, pretending that I couldn't hear every word between the two whispering Omegas at the other end of the room. less

So scared, in fact, that every effort – including drugs, sleep deprivation, and starvation – were employed in various combinations to keep their captives locked in their more easily controlled human forms. What this group of undesirables turned jailors had forgotten was that humans - especially desperate humans – could be every bit as dangerous as any animal. And after a lifetime in their "care," I was looking at desperate in the rearview mirror. All Good Things: The Omega Auction Chronicles: Book 13 (The Omega Auction Chronicles #13)

Rated: 4.00 of 5 starsA little more than two years have passed since Clint purchased his Omega, Trevor, at the auction (Soul Mate for Sale). Can there really be a happy ever after for two shifters who found each other there? "Do you still love me?" "I..I think so," Trevor said slowly, dropping his face to his hands. "I mean, whatever this has been, it has remained steady." "Whatever this has been?" I repeated, my stomach clenching. "You used to say you love me. Now you don't know if you ever did?" I desperately wanted Trevor to correct me, to say that he had misspoken. To assure me that he loved me. That wasn't what happened. Instead, he tried to swallow a little sob and looked up, his beautiful blue eyes awash with tears and his bottom lip trembling. "I see." A million more questions ran through my mind, but I forced them – and my confused wolf - back. "Can you tell me more? How long have you felt this way?" I swallowed hard. "Do..you want the claim reversed?" "I don't know." He was choking on his sobs, and I had to fight every Alpha instinct to keep from touching him, comforting him. There was nothing I could do to stop the pheromones that my body released at his distress, though. "Things were so bad until you bought me and it's better here." He winced at the word. "But that's it, isn't it? You didn't choose me. You bought me because I was convenient, because I was different." He dashed the tears from his eyes. "Do you really think you would love me if we had met the normal way?" "I know I would," I insisted immediately even though I already knew that this was an argument I couldn't win. "There was an amazing number of Omegas in that place. You know that. You were the only one I responded to. You're meant to be mine." Trevor attempted a smile, but it was a weak imitation of his usual warm grin. "That's pheromones, sex." He shook his head sadly. "That's not love." I could have argued that point, but I could tell that he had more he didn't want to say. "And?" "I feel like I'm being forced into a role I didn't study for," my mate whispered haltingly. "I don't feel like I belong here anymore." 5% of all proceeds from The Omega Auction Chronicles books are donated to support The Trevor Foundation. less

Love Bears All: The Omega Auction Book Seven (The Omega Auction Chronicles #15)

I screwed my eyes closed against the tears, but the salty, warm water leaked through, stinging the raw, abraded skin around my eyes. The pain shooting through my body was worse than usual. Much worse. My large muscle groups convulsed, clenching with every forced movement. My blood was boiling in my veins, cooking me from the inside. At one point I forced my eyes open and was amazed not to see blisters forming on my trembling hands. The burning, searing sensations flooded through me in waves. It was damn near intolerable. Not that I had a choice but to tolerate it. Endure it. Hope that I would survive it. There was no doubt that my fever had spiked too fast, risen too high. I'd already been on the verge of incoherence when the handlers deemed me ready and came to take me to the dark, dank cage-filled warehouse that my keepers called the Alpha Zoo. After the absurd number of false heat cycles that I’d been forced to abide in the time since I’d been sold at the Omega Auction, it was pretty damned clear to me that the moron who’d injected the synthetic hormones had overdosed me. “Jackson?” Haldrian Christof – our leading local expert in shifter law – stopped inside the door, his jaw dropping. “What the hell happened to you, son?” "Humans, Drey." I released a breath as his brows arched wildly. "They sold me to a group of humans." less

Salvaged Omega (The Omega Auction Chronicles #15)

Rated: 4.17 of 5 starsThree hundred and twenty plus years after the infamous witch trials, Salem still lagged significantly behind the rest of the nation in the rights of both Omegas and everyone who wasn't a human. When his parents quietly handed him off to an Omega broker in his early teens, he was sold as an indentured servant and it seemed the mold was cast... moreThree hundred and twenty plus years after the infamous witch trials, Salem still lagged significantly behind the rest of the nation in the rights of both Omegas and everyone who wasn't a human. Unfortunately for Sky - one of the unfortunate humans to have been born with the holdover Omega gene - that was where he was born. When his parents quietly handed him off to an Omega broker in his early teens, he was sold as an indentured servant and it seemed the mold was cast. Until, that was, he had a chance encounter with an Alpha werewolf shifter who was only doing his job. On the rebound and hunting his stolen child, Colt had agreed to do a quick recon job for the Council of Packs while he was on the trail. Twenty-four hours later, his recon had turned into a rescue and Colt was thrust into the role of protector in a way he never could have seen coming. less

Coming Full Circle (The Omega Auction Chronicles #17)

Rated: 4.50 of 5 starsFaded from months of exposure to the seasons, lengths of tattered yellow crime scene tape still fluttered in the breeze where it was caught in the branches of the shrubs dotting the old Omega auction house grounds. A plastic-sheeted copy graced the only remaining access, the front door that I was unlocking... moreFaded from months of exposure to the seasons, lengths of tattered yellow crime scene tape still fluttered in the breeze where it was caught in the branches of the shrubs dotting the old Omega auction house grounds. The building itself was mostly boarded up, water-damaged copies of the county condemnation order declaring it unsafe were slapped onto the plywood screwed over the side and back entrances. A plastic-sheeted copy graced the only remaining access, the front door that I was unlocking. When the key turned, I pulled the heavy steel door open and Colby shoved a large rock in place to hold it as we filed inside. Now that the intertwined criminal cases that the Council of Packs, Security Division had spent years investigating were closed, and the sentencing hearing scheduled for the following day, all of the crime scenes had been officially slated for demolition, but I’d received special permission to bring a few of the victims into the burned-out auction house for one last visit. To bring their experience full circle. less

It's just a fun, light-hearted (and occasionally naughty) romp to make you smile. When Rescue Omega Antoine set off on a mission to seduce an Alpha he'd only seen once, it didn't seem like such a bad idea! But then again, he never would have guessed that he'd be sucked into a tale of (semi) intrigue that shake what he thought he knew about Easter to the very core! What follows is the never before told story of how an Omega Wolf saved Easter. less
