Bike Week at Daytona Beach brings them back together. He's a dangerous nomad. A ruthless killer. But he's her addiction, and she's his. Can they keep the past where it belongs and move forward, or is it too late? Excerpt - I grabbed Ginger by the hand and pulled her out of the room, down the hall and to the bathroom. Her resistance was futile, her fear unimportant. I knew what I had to do, and if she were smart, she'd realize it, too. If she wanted to live. I opened the bathroom door and yanked her inside, thanking fuck that I found it empty. It was filthy, but better than nothing, and it had a shower that everyone used when they felt the need to be clean, which wasn't often. Ginger spun around when I shut the door, the look of a trapped animal in her pretty blues. I ignored her growing terror, steeling myself for what I had to do. Even behind closed doors I had to make it real, had to be convincing that I was an unfeeling bastard. I saw her swallow, could see her tits rising and falling rapidly as the fear of the unknown overwhelmed her. She was expecting the worst, preparing herself to do whatever she had to do to survive. "Take off your clothes." I kept my tone harsh, indifferent to her growing panic. She shook her head vigorously and stepped back, slamming hard against the cracked porcelain sink. A nervous cry escaped her, and her eyes were wild as she took in her surroundings and realized that there was no escape. Her gaze touched on the door behind me before meeting my eyes. "Please‒" "Take off your fucking clothes," I said in an uncaring, demanding tone. "You're filthy, and not in a way that gets my dick hard. Now undress." I removed my cut and the t-shirt beneath it. "In fact, I think I'll join you." Her eyes nearly popped out of her head at that. "If you're not undressed by the time I'm out of my clothes, you won't like the consequences." I kicked off my boots as my hands went to the front of my pants. As I’d expected she would, Ginger's small hands began to unbutton her blouse. Slowly she began to expose enticing, creamy skin to my wandering eyes. I undid my pants. She lowered her gaze to the floor and turned around before reluctantly removing the garment. I let her have her moment of modesty before I looked into the mirror in front of her. Fuck. My dick took notice of her perfect tits and rosy nipples. Hard nipples. Surprising. No cliffhangers! Can be read as a standalone romance. Warning, contains explicit sex acts, language, and violence. Adults only! less

A killer when he needs to be. He calls no place home, and no woman owns his heart. Until her. Luna. Excerpt - "You don't belong here." There was no fucking way I was going to watch a repeat performance of her getting off on Puck's leg. "What?" she half-laughed, half-gasped. "You heard me," I growled. "You don't know what you're doing, messing around with these men. They aren't known for saying no to something they want." She huffed out a laugh. "What are you talking about?" Her tone revealed that she really had no idea. "We were only going to dance." Her innocence only made me angrier. "Yeah, I saw your first fucking dance with Puck. You think a man gives you an orgasm and he's not looking to get inside your pussy?" She gasped sharply. "I don’t know, Jace. You tell me. I watched you give that woman an orgasm, is her pussy next?" It wasn't often someone dared to use my own words against me. I had to give Luna credit for not backing down and acting like the proverbial damsel in distress. She was standing her ground, and she wasn’t afraid to say it like it was. It was dark, but thanks to the dim light over the door, I could make out her expression, which was growing angrier by the second. It almost made me smile. "You forget I got off, too," I said crudely. Silence followed, and I wondered what she was thinking. It didn't take her long to find her voice. "Right. Then I'd better go back inside and take care of that." She went to grab for the door knob. "The hell you will," I snarled, reaching for her. I pulled her away from the door, gripping her roughly around her upper arm. She pulled away with a cry of anger. "What is your problem, Jace? Why should it bother you what I do with another man? It didn't bother me while you and that woman were humping each other's brains out." I thought about the telling look she’d had on her face when she'd been watching me with CC, the disappointment and the hurt I’d seen. I'd got off a lot of times letting a woman grind against my dick, but that moment tonight hadn't been my proudest, because I'd done it with something else in mind. I'd purposely set out to hurt Luna and teach her a lesson, that attraction for men like me meant one thing and one thing only. I called her bullshit. "Liar!" I whispered sharply down into her face. For a minute we just stood staring at each other in the darkness, listening to the sound of each other's breaths. I swear I saw the glistening of tears fill her eyes. "We're not good men, Luna. You come on to one of these men, let him expect something more, and he'll take it, whether you want to give it up or not. That's their fucking world. Luckily Puck's a little more understanding than most. But if that had been me you were rubbing up on, I would have taken you out back and fucked you up against the wall." It was true. Fuck, I wanted to do it now and take care of the itch I'd had for her since I’d looked into her warm, honey eyes on that very first day. My dick was hard as a rock right fucking now, proving it. "So, what, this is a warning, Jace? You're the good guy looking out for the innocent, unsuspecting woman?" "No, baby, I'm not a good guy. I'm worse than any man in there, and you'd do well to stay the fuck away from me." She yanked her arm away from me and crossed her arms. less

Now he goes through life as a cold, heartless nomad. A man to avoid and be afraid of, uncaring that each day could be his last. He gives a fuck about nothing and no one, until an innocent woman appears out of nowhere, unafraid of his fury, challenging his demons, making him want to live again. Is he strong enough to let her into his heart? Excerpt - "Did he hurt you?" He snarled the words at me, causing me to flinch at the rage behind them. I knew what Moody was asking--hurt was a nicer word than rape. We both glanced down at the ground where my ruined panties were lying in a dirty, oil-soaked puddle. The man that he'd pulled off of me was laying face-first against the concrete, moaning low. I was sure that at the very least, his nose was broken. I shook my head, still trying to make sense of the last five minutes. Moody frightened me more than the man who had tried to rape me, and yet he'd been the one to rescue me. He let out a harsh sigh, as if the whole situation was a big inconvenience to him. "The words, Bailey, I need the f**king words." "No, he didn't get that far." I was so freaking embarrassed, and I blamed myself for what had almost happened. I'd come out there willingly with Corey, not realizing that he'd been too drunk to listen to reason until it had been too late. "What would you have done if he had?" He stood staring at me for a long minute, his jaw clenched tight and his eyes pinned on me like twin lasers. He showed no signs of having just been in a fight. "He wouldn't be getting up from that pavement." I caught my breath. I believed him. I didn't know Moody well, but I'd heard people talk. They'd said he was a secretive man, who lived alone out in the desert. That he didn't like people and he didn't make friends. They'd said it didn't take much to set him off. That he went through life always seeming to be angry about something. He was dangerous. He was unpredictable. He was someone to stay away from. The trouble was that I worked at his bar. Finally, he snapped, "Come on, get on." He mounted his bike. My jaw dropped, because I was sure that I hadn't heard him right. Why would he want me to get on his bike? I had to admit, though, that the thought of riding behind Moody kind of intrigued me. From the moment that I'd met him there'd been something about him that had fascinated me, apart from his hot, rugged looks. "Why?" It was the only word that I could manage to get out. "You came out here for a little sex in a back alley, I'm going to f**k you on my bike." (Moody appears in Book 1 Ruthless and Book 2 Dangerous) less
