She has been in love with Squirrel for many summers. Squirrel has a surprise he has been working on for her but will not tell her what that surprise is. She says some horrible things to him, and his father tells him not to go see her for a few days and make her think he is done. Squirrel does as his father said and Rainbow feels that Squirrel will not come back to her. She learns her lesson well, and they are finally together again.
