Where Eagles Fly by Lisa Norato
Forty-year-old Shelby McCoy is looking forward to a visit on her sister's historic Wyoming dude ranch, yet upon her arrival--surprise! No dudes here. Rather, Shelby is welcomed by the original, nineteenth-century ranchers who claim she's their new cook. Among them is cowboy Ruckert St. Cloud, a young hunk of raw masculinity who isn't pleased about her arrival. He thinks she's loco. She finds him arrogant and rude. He doesn't understand Shelby's sassy talk and provocative style are products of a future age. She doesn't know that behind Ruckert's silent stares and horse-whispering abilities lies a tortured man with a stutter.

The locals call him "Hoss Man." Long ago, the story circulated that God hobbled his tongue so he might learn the language of horses. But twenty-nine-year-old Ruckert is a man pained by loneliness who dreams of love in the arms of one special woman. He suspects Shelby might be that woman, but pride keeps him silent, hesitant to express himself and reveal his weakness. They're just a couple of misfits, so preoccupied with trying to discover the mystery of each other they forget to guard their hearts.

WHERE EAGLES FLY is the extraordinary journey of a woman who travels back in time to meet the man of her future and find the courage to surrender to love.
