A Winter Courtship

When a young heiress comes to Marcus Grey, Fifth Earl of Crandall, seeking sanctuary and aid, the Earl is uncertain how to proceed. Lord Crandall’s longtime friend, Sir Norton Stickley, suggests that his recently widowed sister, Alison Prescott, might be able to help the young heiress in her time of need.

Newly arrived in London, Alison is determined to live simply and has vowed never to remarry. When her brother arrives at her doorstep, accompanied by the handsome Earl of Crandall, however, Alison finds her frosty feelings about marriage thawing quickly.
