Emma's Deliverance by Susan Vance
A family is murdered. Three-year-old Emma is found hiding in the closet. What did she see?

Now, at twenty-five, Emma has just become the proud owner of a flower shop. Thinking that her past is behind her, she is ready to take on the world. A man shows up at her shop to answer her help-wanted sign, but something about him spooks her. The nightmares of her childhood trauma begin to haunt her as this man, who looks so much like the man from her nightmares, seems to appear out of the shadows everywhere she goes. She questions whether he is real or imagined. He looks very real to her, but since she is the only one who seems to see him, she doesn’t know for sure.

Just as the past comes to confront her again, into her life walks Jason, the man of her dreams. For the first time, she experiences the wonder and joy of falling in love. She is torn between her desire to be with Jason to live a normal life, and her fear that she will drag him into her craziness. Not prepared to let him go, she pretends that nothing is happening to her, that she is not seeing the man from her nightmares. She goes along with what she is being told by others, that it is all in her imagination. It is all in her mind.

Terrified, alone, and confused, Emma risks losing the only love she has ever known if she tells him the truth about her past and her inability to hold herself together. Is she really crazy? Or is someone stalking her, trying to make her look like she is crazy? Follow her into the depths of her struggle to find the solution to Emma’s Deliverance.
