Mirror In The Forest by B. Groves
Jessica Winters is a bullied, socially awkward, and shy eighteen year old from the fictional town of Leon’s Crossing in Washington State. While walking in the woods one day to get away from the pressures of school, and her parents constantly telling her she needs to socialize more, Jessica stumbles upon a mysterious mirror inside of the forest. As the magical mirror comes alive before her very eyes, Jessica’s life begins to change in more ways than one.
The Sheriff of Leon’s Crossing, Mark McKenzie, has a bright future in law enforcement. Despite his young age, he is well liked, and well respected by the residents of the small mountain town. Mark soon begins to investigate when inexplicable events begin to happen around the town.
As Jessica and Mark’s lives begin to intertwine, Mark soon becomes suspicious that Jessica is harboring some very dark, and sinister secrets.
Will Jessica’s involvement with the mysterious mirror eventually drive a wedge between them, or even worse, destroy both of their lives?
What kind of deal has Jessica made with the mirror?

Like the old saying goes…..

Be careful what you wish for.
