This Novella is about Lucy Morgan -- a sharp, beautiful young Human Resources Manager who works for her father. She fills her spare time volunteering at the local Mission. Lucy loves to talk to people she meets in the parks and on the streets. She often directs those in need to the Mission. One chilly early winter day, she finds a homeless man dying of an overdose, on a park bench. She intervenes, and gets medical attention for him. Somehow, she always seems to find this man when he's in trouble. Embarrassing for him! Lucy's suitor, Jake, is jealous and suspicious; even though this man is obviously in trouble and not looking to escape his problems. He is young and handsome, and Jake feels threatened. Jake wants to marry Lucy, and take her on his world travels; but Lucy doesn't have peace about the proposition. She has a lot of issues to face, and work through. Does she love Jake? Can she deal with his jealousy and possessiveness? How does she really feel about the homeless? How deep does that stigma run in her heart? She has to face her own expectations about inheriting her father's business, and feeling usurped. Finally, she has to face her own heart, and decide if she can be vulnerable, and truly trust in love. Before she can accept human love, she has to face the true Master; and discover His love for her.
