Jo Brosnan has always dreamed of falling in love with a wealthy man and living a life of luxury. Her friend, Steph, however, is already married and is having major problems with her jealous husband.

When Jo starts going out with Ashley – handsome, affluent and generous – Steph finds her financial situation and her husband's bad moods intolerable, and the women's friendship suffers as a result.
