Deep in the heart of Patience, Indiana, Amanda is a strong, independent young woman who runs an Amish bakery to support her younger brother. Orphaned when her parents pass in a tragic carriage accident, Amanda and Peter only have each other--until Simon, a kind but over confident young British baker, arrives in town and joins the staff at the bakery.
