“I can help you with the rent, Dorothy,” the pastor said, giving Hope his finger to play with for a moment. “But for a more permanent solution, I still think that you should consider my idea of becoming a mail order bride.”

“I have thought about it since the first time you mentioned it,” Dorothy smiled gratefully at him. “I’m very much against the idea, but it looks like I don't have any other choice...”

Although Samuel Tucker could have any woman he wants considering his attractive features and family wealth, he actually desires nothing more than to win the heart of a good woman. When his parents decide to choose a mail order bride for him, they disregard his opinion and simply choose someone who is beautiful and from a good family. The wealthy only son must now choose between the beautiful stranger and the pretty widow with her precious baby daughter.

Believing that his parents only want the best for him, but knowing that his heart is taking him in a different direction, the handsome rancher faces one of his life’s hardest decisions.
