Kensa, finally, is here for fortune. After just having extricated herself form an abusive relationship with an older, wealthy, she seeks a means of gaining her financial independence. With special knowledge of the area, she plans to guide the crew toward the Chalice in order to only to abscond with the artifact when they aren't paying attention, and find a buyer for it on the black market.

As disparate as their goals, however, the three of them are about to find their lives changed forever by a raid on their party, which leaves them fleeing for their lives into the ancient maze of caves that leads to more danger than any of them could have imagined…
