Meet Lucky Jennings. Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina by a single mother, she's determined not to become a product of her environment. After watching her mom work tirelessly to support her, Lucky throws herself into her school work, graduating at the top of her class. Lucky isn’t comfortable around people and prefers to blend into the background, but once she encounters Shaleek Jordan, the shrinking violet begins to bloom.

Shaleek Jordan had a hard life growing up, from parents who didn't want him, to bouncing around from foster home to foster home. At the age of fourteen, he ran away from his foster home when the abuse became too much. An angel was watching over him because one night while walking, he met a savior named Donna. She took him in, introduced him to her son, and just like that, Shaleek had a family.

Even though Drizzy was skeptical about Leek at first, the two formed an unbreakable bond. Together, the two took over the streets, and had been running things ever since.

Once Leek runs into Lucky, he's intrigued by the shy beauty. After a few chance meetings, the two form a friendship, but everybody isn't happy about it.
