Love Set Me Free

When young Diamond becomes smitten with an older man, her parents warn her but as with most teens, she doesn't listen. She has to learn the hard way when she's struggling with a baby and her child's father is nowhere to be found. Diamond loathes ending up just another statistic, living in the hood, working dead end jobs. She feels like a failure as a mother but when an unforeseen tragedy occurs, Diamond will never be the same. She blames herself for not being a good enough mother and goes through an emotional roller coaster that touches all those around her, especially Blick.

Blick's only goals are to take care of his daughter and to start his own business. He'd never been a fan of the street life and tried to avoid it at all costs. A freak accident, hits too close to home and Blick has to take drastic measures to move his child out of the hood. Guilt and empathy cause Blick to fall for the heartbroken Diamond but initially, she pushes him away. She wants no parts of love and she makes it known. Blick won't give up easily though and soon they both learn that they can help set each other free.
