The search put her in life in jeopardy and young family threatened with bodily harm. She is helped by a loving group of family members and friends but more importantly she meets a new man.
The fictitious town of Manitou is the setting for this story. Located on the shore of Lake Michigan, Manitou looks to be an idyllic place, but as books 1 and 2 in the Manitou series show things aren't always perfect in small towns. The story deals with plethora of human emotions ranging from divorce to learning the man you thought was your father really wasn't. In the end the support provided by some of the people of Manitou saves the day.
