sExessive: A story of betrayal and love by Anna C. Belle
Like smoke and fire, the office rumors were true. I found out one evening working late in our law firm library. The last place you’d think of. I watched as he stripped his secretary down to her stockings and spike heel shoes. He bent her, face and breasts down, pressed to the cool glass top of the library table. I watched his muscular back as he did it to her. Hidden, or so I thought, I wished it was me. I remember so vividly that shocking moment when our eyes met.

Nathan Hennessey, rich and famous celebrity lawyer. On the surface he had everything. Male model like looks in sharp immaculate Italian suits. He was from a blue blood family. Old money or as old as you can get here in Australia. He had the fast cars. He had the white stone mansion, Val-d'Isère all to himself.

Not just charming. Much more than that. Charismatic would be the way I would describe him. Whether batting away the cameras in a gangland murder trial or greeting an elite client, he always had the right things to say. In my wildest dreams I imagined myself on the steps of the court working side by side with Nathan, parrying TV journalist questions.

On the surface he was flawless but underneath the glamour? Risky public sex was the tip of the iceberg.

He saw me watching. That led to the chain of events in this story. Why tell it? I’m not sure. It feels good to write it down I know that. I think probably it’s the strain of keeping it secret.

I’ve had to change the names and the places of course. Add the usual rider. None of these characters represent real people and real events. There would be defamation hearings and damages claims. It would be hard to prove and they’d fight anyway, if it were true. So it’s not true. It’s just an anonymous story by an anonymous author on the anon-ternet.
