Under the surface she was just a girl from the hood looking for a way out. In light of the public she was a former prostitute, turned pimp, who risked her life for crumpled dollars and a dream.

Justice Jones had a hard past consumed by a womanizing father she’d never seen and a mother who was addicted to fast times and the bottle. At a rebellious sixteen, she left home and became a prostitute for a sense of freedom.

After finding a false sense of love in a pimp and realizing it was all a lie, she struck out on her own, forming The Kitty Kat Mafia, a group of prostitutes who looked out for themselves in terms of protection and profit. Together with The Kitty Kat Mafia, Justice Jones took the South by storm and formed one of the most successful prostitution rings in history.

The author is quoted as saying, “In most novels about the sex game the men have all the power, and it is told from the perspective of the pimp. I wanted to raise the stakes and tell it from the perspective of the prostitute. In my research I have found that prostitutes are very deep and conflicted people. I also find that they can at times be different from the perception that society has of them. Ninety percent of what I have written has actually happened. Although this is fiction it is based entirely on events that have taken place.”
