Inheritance by Nanea Knott
I’m giving you a house that you can never sell.
Those were the first words in the letter Melina’s grandfather wrote to her. His attorney said she had been remembered in her grandfather’s will. She expected to receive a box of trinkets. Instead, he handed her the letter and a set of keys.
The house was the only thing she owned thanks to her soon to be ex-husband Brian. He had thrown her out of the house they shared as soon as divorce papers were filed. He had left her with very little money and even less hope.
She moved into the house the day she got the keys only to find out the house was already occupied by a man named Patrick. He’s a handsome stranger with an even stranger connection to the house and her family history. He’s the reason she can’t sell the house.
The divorce isn’t final yet, and her ex wants to take the house from her. If he gets it, not only will she be homeless, she’ll lose her family’s legacy, and change Patrick’s life forever.
Can she find a way to keep her grandfather’s creepy house?
