Will Evans, billionaire and CEO of Lomax Industries, comes home one evening to find his friend, Troy, lying dead on the living room floor. Even more startling is the discovery that the bullet that killed Troy was actually meant for him. Will is convinced he is being eliminated by a close relation who wants control of his company, but he must live long enough to prove it. To do that, he will need to stay dead and enlist the help of a woman who already deceived him once.

For months, Colleen Strayer has been trying to settle into her new position as Chief Financial Officer at Lomax Industries and her new life in San Francisco. However, having Will, her boss and a man she had a one-night stand with, as her next door neighbor has made things very difficult.
