Melody Hanley had been robbed of her parents and the life she knew in Cincinnati. And then Brady Carlton had taken what was left of her enchanted existence.

Emery Jenkins needed a wife, and there were certainly no viable options in Cheyenne. He knew that his brother Lance was not convinced that a mail order bride was the right route for him, but then again Emery had not been hurt by love as his brother had been. Unfortunately, fate had a different hand dealt for the Jenkins brothers than they envisaged, and when Melody arrived out West to the ranch life that was foreign to her, it was not to be a wife to Emery Jenkins.
