Scorned: Healing the Heart of a Queen by Tucora Monique
Every part of me was disturbed.

The precision in my body when I danced, the shine of my skin and my solid intuition had all decayed.

I surrendered my common sense and ran with a promise of longevity only to come face to face with deceit personified by a fu*k boy impersonating a man. All that loyalty displayed, only to be branded by a baby, bars, and bitterness. Now, here you are thinking you can save me.

I think you're more screwed up for wanting to.

Every part of me was contrived.
Puberty arrived, secrets were buried, and pistols were distributed as my path was solidified; sacrifice at the hem of the Zucarri family creed.

Now, here you are disrupting my normal with your instability. You have to be out of your damn mind to believe you can hide behind your hostility now that you've inserted your presence in my purpose for living.

The difference between practice and policy have always been a conflicting trial for rebellious aerial dancer, Cyrus Queen, and head honcho, Ollie Zucarri. After years of imprisonment, still bearing wounds deep enough to display damage, is it possible for the scorned to be healed?
