This book put me on an emotional rollercoaster i feel like the author was handing out death like oprah you get death you get a death you all die literally on the edge the whole way through the book. She knew exactly what she was doing with that ending chapter got me hook line and sinker... bravo i have to read the next book now to see what happens...



A great high-fantasy first book. I feel deeply for the main character, a strong high-born female who suffers greatly because of nightmarish circumstances. I was able to empathize with her completely, which is the way I judge if a book was good or not. Now I cannot wait to see how her future of "thorns and thrones" will be.
