Second Chance Cowboy: A Sweet Romance by Reagan Phillips
Newly divorced Chelsea Montgomery hopes accepting an assistant position on Brigadoon Stables is a step toward rebuilding her life. Living on a working horse farm is a dream and the job marries her love of people and animals perfectly. So perfectly she hopes to move her son onto the farm. That is if the grumpy horse trainer doesn’t get her fired. He’s cold and domineering at times, but once her son comes into the picture, he falls naturally into the father role missing from their small family.

All Steven Bradshaw has left of his once glowing rodeo career is the family he’s acquired at Brigadoon. While on work release the owner has never made him feel like a felon and in recent months has given him free rein over the running of the stable and the farm. Just the second chance Steven needs to build a new reputation. But, when a new assistant and her young son crowd his peaceful life and threaten to take Brigadoon from the quiet family farm to a top-rated show barn, he fears his past will become public. He’ll do anything to keep his mistakes from darkening Brigaddon’s reputation, even walk away from the chance to be the man Chelsea and her son deserve.
