An Amish Conundrum: Amish Romance by Emma Cartwright

When the faith of two people is tested they must find a way to believe in God's plan and not let pride get in the way of their blossoming romance.

Discovering that her cousin Jane is planning to marry in the fall, young Amish woman Sarah Fisher decides to make her a unique wedding present. One that will touch Jane’s heart on her special day and remind her of the many happy years of marriage ahead.

She plans on hand stitching her a quilt, but the gift needs to be perfect. That means selecting Jane’s favorite colors.

Sarah’s problems arises when she cannot obtain the ideal fabric, causing her to fret over how the finished item will look.

She confides in David Bieler, a friend and potential beau.

He listens patiently to her angst but finds it difficult to offer much in the way of sympathy.

As far as he is concerned the health of his prized cow, who is expecting a calf any day now, is far more of a concern than a quilt that can easily be made of any colors.

But underneath all of this David finds his faith tested and wonders if this life is really what he is destined for after all.

Can Sarah and David resolve their differences and realize that God has a Plan for them — one where they truly understand each other’s feelings and appreciate what is really important in life?
