Two Broken Souls

I have been a keeper of many secrets since I was old enough to know what secrets were. No one knew the truth, knew the real me and what goes on behind closed doors. No one knows about the abuse I suffer at the hands of my father. No one knows about the cuts and scars I hide from the world. Why? Because I choose for it to be that way. I soon learn that just because my father once broke me, it doesn't mean I need to stay that way. I laughed when someone once told me that love makes everything better, but I soon realise those words are valid.

Life can change in an instant. It can change when you least expect it, and sometimes it is for the best. No matter what happens in the past, it doesn't need to define you.

WARNINGS: This book mentions self-harm and rape, but neither of these things happens in this book. It is something that is said. There is also Physical abuse, which does happen in this book, but not often and not in too much detail.
