Percy Ja’Rue is a very attractive man with smooth skin the color of a Tootsie Roll. The women of Ferriday, Louisiana referred to him as a tall drink of water; knowing he’s married they couldn’t even have a sip. Because Percy is a committed man that dearly loves his family. He’s a part-owner of Ja’Rue and Son’s Trucking company which makes it possible for him to travel across the country, enjoying his passionate connections with what seemed to be never-ending highways, unpredictable county farm roads, and busy city streets. Percy’s business grew and so did his family. He decides to reassign his cross-country routes to other drivers and limit his route to driving back-and-forth to Louisiana and Oklahoma. This route turned out to be surprisingly intriguing to the point Percy was never bored, especially at the last stop, Tulsa, Oklahoma. At times, his brother and confidant joined him. Together they would visit nightclubs and other gathering places that introduced them to Tulsa’s north-side residents. One time they crossed paths with two sisters; one changes Percy’s outlook on family. Tulsa is now his home away from home.
