SEAN: REAPER-Patriots: Book Fourteen by Mary Kennedy
Sean Liffey was well on his way to becoming a two-bit hood in a rundown neighborhood of Chicago. That is, until fate stepped in. Stealing the car of a gang leaders wife is a sure way to get yourself killed; joining the Army is the way to get out of it. He never anticipated making it his career, but the Rangers came calling and Liffey found his best friends in Eric and the other team members. When their mission in Michigan has him crossing paths with the beautiful Shay Lewis, he can't get her off his mind. But she's a hard one to catch. Finally back at Belle Fleur where she belongs, she's changed and maybe not for the better.

Shay Lewis lost her son and in the process, a great deal of herself. Trying to find where 'home' might be, she realizes that the only place that feels right any longer is with Sean. Always letting curiosity get the best of her, she finds herself strapped to a table, injected with something and then suddenly running faster than any human before. To catch the man injecting unsuspecting people, she will have to submit to endless tests and help Liffey and his friends find the elusive Dr. Singh. The difficult part for all of them is realizing that sometimes doing all the wrong things for all the right reasons, makes sense. Even if it's still not okay.
