Olivia's Meadow by Dwight Peattie
Olivia’s Meadow

It’s an idyllic place on her family’s ranch at Abiquiu, New Mexico.
Horses, cattle and cowboys in the Taos area are all she’s ever known until Olivia leaves the ranch for the big city by way of a full scholarship. She packs her best jeans, favorite boots and hat for a San Francisco R.N. program and takes off on the first airplane ride of her life.
The story opens with just a few weeks remaining in her program. She’s working a shift and prepping for her 6-hour RN exam when she encounters David.
He's irresistible and she’s defenseless. Ethically, it can be a career-ender because he’s a patient. Regardless, David and Olivia are instantly, wildly and madly in love at the wrong place and at the wrong time in each other’s lives.
The biggest break in David's professional life happens just as he yearns for his relationship with Olivia to be long term. The job’s a career-maker that's his for the asking. It’s big money and upside but he has to relocate.
Something’s gotta give and it does.
Olivia disappears. David almost comes undone and vows not to give up the search for her.
Enter Vanessa, who’s as hot as molten lava but troubled. She has a steamy affair with David. Nothing she can say or do will sway David’s conviction: No one can replace Olivia or deter his search for her.
You'll brim with love and surrender to tears in this saga of a love steeped in passion and intimacy, of hope and resolve. It’ll grab your heart and run with it no matter how hard you try to shake it.
The conclusion may take your very breath away in this story you’ll want to read again and again.
