Set in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, Robert Banner is a freshman in community college who is studying media production. Looking for a summer job to help him with rent for the academic year, he applies for a position at a wax museum of all places. Niagara Falls being a tourist hot-spot is home to a number of odd-ball tourist attractions. The owner, Mrs. Robinson herself is hard up for money and is reluctant to offer a college kid a job. But suddenly a light bulb goes out and an idea is hatched. Rob - the scrawny freshman may only be good enough to clean the displays and man the cash register but Rob, the celebrity impersonator would certainly draw a crowd. Of course, they would need to find the right celebrity - someone with global appeal who would bring in visitors from across the world especially the older crowd of tourists from America and if they had a little bit of sex appeal, that wouldn't hurt one bit. They settle on the beautiful Marilyn Monroe - the timeless object of every man's affections. Rob is hesitant at first. He has never done anything like this before but Mrs. Robinson assures him she has it all covered. In the hands of the museum's wax statue sculptor and prosthetics specialist, Rob is transformed from the flaky young man to the beautiful and demure Marilyn. However, that only covers the physical aspects of Marilyn, will Rob be able to adapt mentally to becoming Marilyn and if he does, will he ever return to being Rob again?
