Texas Sweetheart: Oakton Hills Series

What are you supposed to do when you are hopeless at romance? Not a hopeless romantic, but someone who has no idea what they’re doing in relationships.

Yeah, that’s me. Andy Sims, Oakton Hill’s designated ‘Sweetheart.’ In my defense, I thought I was doing a swell job. But the minor detail of me frantically sprinting out of a ballroom Cinderella style, indicates otherwise.

Now, I’m slightly jaded and infusing myself into my pet care business. Trying to stay far away from the opposite sex—unless they’re adorable pets, of course.

However, Simon Blake,—rich, aloof, and drop-dead-handsome bachelor—doesn’t seem to get the memo. The hunk continually pops into my orbit and begins to muddy the waters of our previously nonexistent acquaintance. Creating an attraction that even I can’t deny.

But there are things from Simon’s past (and present) that creep up, threatening our potential future. Will I be able to overcome these obstacles? Or will it be the final straw in my already fragile outlook on relationships?

So back to my original dilemma. When you are a relationship nincompoop, do you throw in the towel, or risk it all for the chance at a forever romance?
