Married In Haste by Ruth Ann Nordin
For Miss Ava Baynes, it was love at first sight. For Brad Bachman, Earl of Youngtown, it was disaster at first dance…

As soon as Ava meets Brad, she knows he is perfect for her, but when she accidentally makes him trip in front of everyone at the ball, he vows to avoid her at all costs. Fate, however, has other plans for him. And in this case, fate takes the form of Brad’s younger brother who is out for revenge. His brother sets a trap that brings the two into a scandal they can’t escape. Now they must marry.

As much as Ava wants to marry Brad, she never wanted to do it against his will. Upon their wedding night, he runs out of her bedchamber, leaving her bed and her heart feeling empty. Her new husband doesn’t want anything to do with her, and she doesn’t know what she can do about it.

Unknown to her, Brad is attracted to her. He just has one big problem he can’t seem to overcome, no matter how hard he tries. He’s terrified of going to her bed. Perhaps if he had some experience, he might feel more confident, but he’s never even kissed a lady. Worse, he has to deal with a conniving brother who’s telling him that he’ll fail as a lover.

As the days pass in their marriage, things get more and more strained between them. At some point, something has to give. But can one of them break down the barrier between them before they lose their chance at a happily ever after?
