I may write about celebrity gossip and casting calls for the Hollywood Gazette as my day job, but it's not the where I see my career ending. And I may hate politics with a passion, but my gut tells me this story must be told.

So, when a damsel in distress literally runs into me, I'm all too happy to be her hero. She's terrified, bruised and battered, and I cannot resist coming to her aid.

After hearing her story - which could put the entire country in the crosshairs of a dangerous drug cartel - I know that she needs more than just a temporary hero to keep her safe. She needs a superhero. I am more than willing to be the Superman to her Lois Lane. You know...in the name of National Security.
