Thomas goes to visit his grandfather and meets his mistress Kim. He treats her terribly and when his grandfather dies and Kim is left with a small inheritance Thomas fights to not allow her to have it.
Kim is confused, she has spent the most of the last year caring for her elderly friend Mr. Hawk, She never expected his family to treat her in this manner.

Review:
This short story is a well-written girl meets boy tale. The backstory is unique and involves a wealthy and benevolent grandfather who plays cupid by three stipulations in his will. They are: 1) each grandson must marry within 30 days of the reading of the will. 2) Each grandson must stay married for one year. 3) Each newly married couple must have a baby within a two year period beginning with the reading of the will. Meeting all three stipulations will result in the inheritance of $7.2 billion.

In this third book, we meet Kim, a hospice nurse and Thomas Hawk, one of Nathan Hawk's grandsons. When Thomas first spies Kim, on a visit to his grandfather, he incorrectly assumes she is her grandfather's mistress. Despite this misconception, Thomas is intrigued with Kim. But, once his grandfather's will is read and he learns that Kim is included as a benefactor in the will, Thomas is angered. He is curt and rude to her. He soon learns the truth and is remorseful. Reconciling with his true infatuation with her, he offers her a proposition so that he can comply with the stipulation of his grandfather's will. They enter into a prenuptial agreement. Will these two make it? Will they find a HEA life?

This is short story has a good girl meets boy story line. The dialog moves the story along as it also helps readers to discover of Kim's and Thomas's true character. Definitely a quick read
