Nixie starts to research the goddess Nyx. She’s still in a lust-filled passionate relationship with Brett, and the passion is growing white-hot, consuming her.
Blade encourages her to find her powers, so she heads to a New Age Store to find a book on casting spells. One of the books calls to her, so she purchases it, takes it home, and devours it, memorizing one of the spells.
Brett has been hot and cold with her, but finally, she goes on a date with him. Blade interrupts the date while Brett is on a phone call and tells Nixie she needs to access her powers. He questions her relationship with Brett, which makes her get defensive.
Her obsession with Brett grows. The murders continue. Blade helps her access visions of who she used to be and must become now in this lifetime. She realizes she needs to help save the world.
